In addition to our beautiful venue, we also want to offer our brides as many other services as we can to make the planning process that much easier and affordable. We know what it takes (and costs) to plan the day of your dreams (having planned our own in three short months), so we want to make this as one-stop shop as possible. The less vendors you have to search for and hire, the easier. The services listed below are in addition to the venue fee, but less expensive than the same services provided by outside vendors. We can also refer a handful of preferred vendors for services we do not offer such as caterers, photographers, bands, DJs, florists, hair and makeup artists, and whatever else you can imagine to make your day truly unique.
Bar Service
Maine Mixologist, LLC was born approximately nine years ago after years of bartending for other companies and learning this great trade. We wanted to provide an in-house service to our couples at an affordable price. Maine Mixologist carries a $2,000,000 liquor insurance policy and has an amazing staff of bartenders to serve your guests the spirits, beer, and wine that you provide. The other alternatives include hiring a licensed food caterer or a separate company to do a cash bar.
Our reputation in this industry speaks for itself as we are a preferred vendor for many venues and wedding planners so you'll often see us out. We also work many corporate and fundraising events. We love giving back to our community!
Partial Planning & Day of Coordination
Every couple should have a professional to help ease the stress of the day. Afterall, this will be the most expensive day of your life (even with a small budget) so you want everything to go as well as possible. Despite every wonderful mom, sister or friend who offers to help, you want those people to ENJOY your day. At CFF we offer Partial Planning at NO CHARGE to our couples which means working with you from day ONE, reviewing contracts, drafting and finalizing your weekend itinerary, having a planning meeting, making recommendations, and offering 30 yrs of experience for free. :) Then for the Rehearsal and Reception we offer Day of Coordination for $1,000 to deal with ALL THE THINGS so you can relax and just enjoy!
If you know someone having a Friday, Sunday or other non-Saturday wedding and they need a Coordinator do not hesitate to pass along my name!
Notary Public
Back in 2004 when dear friends of mine asked me to join them in matrimony, I never thought it would be the start of a decade of meeting and marrying SO many wonderful couples. Rentals & Props
To enhance your wedding day, we offer a wide array of items for rent. Utilizing rentals, instead of purchasing them, will save you money and allow you to walk away from them instead of finding a home to store everything later. Whether you envision a hay bail lounge or elegant seating area, we can do that for you!
In addition to the items we have on hand, we can also refer you to the items offered for rent by "A Family Affair of Maine" who specialize in design and has an even wider array of items at your disposal. They can be found at afamilyaffairmaine.com.
Seamstress
My mom, Brenda Pinkham, who owns Cozy Cottage Alterations & Tailoring has been a seamstress for over 50 years! Having owned a Bridal Shop for over 20 years, she now works exclusively for several bridal shops throughout the State, and on her own, altering wedding dresses. She can also alter suits, bridesmaids, and mother's dresses as well. If you choose to have her alter your wedding dress she'll hold onto it during and after your final fitting, deliver it to CFF the Wednesday before you arrive, and have it steamed and ready to slip on in the bridal suite of the Farmhouse. What service!!! :)
