About Us

Coolidge Family Farm is a retired Maine farm situated on ELEVEN beautiful country acres in the quaint Upper Village of New Gloucester. The property was built in 1870 and has been recently renovated to host couples and their families and friends for a long weekend wedding getaway.  Although we primarily host weddings, we're also available for any other type of gathering and celebration.  We focus on being your one-stop venue to assist you with all your needs at an affordable price.  Having been in the wedding and event planning industry for over a decade, our expertise and passion speaks for itself.

Additional services we provide include notary, day of coordination, bar service, and wedding rentals and props to make your day truly unique.  A list of preferred vendors that all provide superior service is available upon request.

Being a "family" farm means just that - you will be treated like family from the start.  We aim to provide a truly personable experience from your first showing through our final hugs on your wedding day.

Our family strength, bond, and geneology dates back to the 30th President of the United States, Calvin Coolidge himself.  At the Farm, you'll notice a wall dedicated to his presidency and my personal collection of memorialbilia to honor 'Cool Cal' and his short reign in office.

During your stay at the Farm, you may run into many family members who have teamed together to be a part of running our 'Family Farm'.  That team includes myself, my mother, sister, husband and other family members who are looking forward to assisting me with any of the services you desire.  OUR family committment is to provide YOUR family with a one-of-a-kind venue to gather and celebrate!

Our Team
Misty & Peter

The Owners

After a decade of learning and working in all aspects of the wedding industry, and faced with being laid off from my legal career, I decided to pursue the dream of owning a barn venue (a type of venue I would have loved to have been married in if I could have afforded it).  I knew that working for myself would allow me to raise my family and work full-time in an industry that I love.  Thankfully having a husband who knows my passion and supports it has been imperative to our success and I couldn't do it without him or my family.

Debbie

The Aunt

A niece could not ask for a sweeter or more generous Aunt.  With her family the focus of her priorities, she's the perfect person to oversee the property for me in the event I'm unable to be on hand.

Brenda & Kirby

The Mom and Stepfather

Having been raised by a mother who was (and still is) an overachiever and who has run and owned several businesses herself (including a bridal shop starting when I was 12), has been invaluable resource and sounding board for advice and guidance.  Since Peter and I are due with twins in April, my mother will be the most important aspect of our business...fulfilling her role as grammy so that I can be available at the Farm.  Kirby's role at the farm has been and will continue to be that of our right hand man.  When we've called, he's been there to help! Couldn't ask for more!

Devon

The Sister

My beautiful and energetic sister is the perfect person to oversee and manage bar service for Maine Mixologist.  Having been trained and licensed behind the bar, she will be an asset to the success of our business.

Ben

The Cousin

Residing on the property in the 'in-law' apartment are my cousin Ben and his partner Brandon along with their two little puppies.  Ben and Brandon will be taking care of parking non-shuttled guests arriving on the day of your wedding OR you may find Ben behind the bar serving your guests with his mixology expertise!
